For many brides choosing the dress is not even close to as difficult as choosing the shoes. Sometimes, the shoes are the most important part and one of the qualifications is having ski high-and I mean high (higher!) heels. But how do you walk down the aisle to your charming groom at your outdoor wedding when you’re wearing heels that should be illegal?
Solution: build a custom walkway, of course! That is what we did for our lovely bride, Raegan, at a recent wedding in Stowe, VT, at the suggestion of her Event Coordinator, Piper Designs. The aisle went from the house all the way to the Huppah decorated by Blomma Flicka so that Raegan could comfortably (or as comfortable as she could be in 6 inch heels) meet her love, Alex.
We truly can provide anything you need for your wedding!

We work with many caterers in Vermont throughout the year, but today we want to feature one of our favorites…Catering by Dale!
We often work with them at The Skinner Barn in Waitsfield, Vermont as they are the exclusive caterer at that venue (soon to be featured on our blog, as well).
Not only does the team from Catering by Dale ensure that your guests enjoy some of the most amazing, luscious food, but they also take care of many of the small details for your event including set-up and break-down, organizing your rental order and orchestrating the night with the help of their event coordinators.
I dare you to look through the photos below and not develop a craving for some of this delicious food at your next event.
The food you see above (from top to bottom) is New Zealand Green Mussels w/ Fresh Fruit Salsa and Spicy Gazpacho, Homemade Birch Beer Floats w/ Lake Champlain Chocolates Vanilla Ice Cream and Seared Scallop Cocktails w/ Caviar and Lemon Aioli.

Throughout the summer we have been gathering some amazing idea’s and inspirations for the future. As luck would have it, we are thrilled to let you all know of the decoration addition we’ve introduced into our showroom!
This week we’re featuring Tree Rounds! These authentic disks were cut from real fallen trees this summer, and were imprinted with numbers 1-24 so they can be used for an assortment of decorations at your event. As you can see, we like them best as centerpieces, but they can also be used as table numbers (as we’ve mentioned), or flip them over and use them as a decoration on your gift table, dessert table, or even as a cake stand base for your cake table! There are so many possibilities that will add the perfect rustic detail to your design.
We are offering them to rent for $5/pc and we have 24 available. And as always, stop into our showroom and see the changes and additions we’ve made to the tables and the space. There’s always something new to see and we’re always here to answer any questions you have.
Til next time!
